Love at First Fall

Living on the edge—falling, crashing, and getting back up again.

Love at First Fall is more than a stuntman’s memoir. It’s a raw journey of survival and redemption, and the kind of love that makes every risk worth it.

A story of fire and family, scars and second chances, and the breathtaking truth that sometimes the only way to rise … is to fall.

Aaron Crippen

Aaron Crippen has spent much of his life getting back up. As a Hollywood stuntman and stunt coordinator, Army veteran, husband, father, and author of Love at First Fall, Aaron has experienced more than his share of falls. Over a career spanning more than 160 film and television productions, including The Dark Knight, Transformers, The Batman, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Fire. He discovered that the most meaningful lessons didn't come from movie sets. They came from the moments life knocked him down. Through engaging storytelling, Aaron blends behind-the-scenes Hollywood experiences with deeply personal moments of resilience, love, loss, and purpose. Filled with humor, honesty, and unforgettable stories, his presentations are less about the stunts and more about what every one of us can learn from the falls that shape our lives. Whether you're a movie fan, a reader, or simply someone who's had to get back up after life knocked you down, Aaron's story is a reminder that every scar has a story—and every fall has something to teach us.
