The What's the Tea? Book Club meets the fourth Wednesday of the month and discusses popular queer fiction and non-fiction. For the August 26th meeting, we will be discussing Evenings & Weekends by Oisín McKenna. All book discussion groups at Reads & Company are free and open to the public, and each selection is offered with a 20% discount.

A Court of Splintered Harmony by Sarah J Maas: Midnight Release Party
Reads & Company, The Colonial Theatre, Here And Now Crafts, Sanctuary Esthetics & Cosmetic Tattoo, and C & E Craft Company are celebrating the release of A Court of Splintered Harmony by Sarah J. Maas with a midnight release party at The Colonial Theatre! Join us at 10 pm on Monday, October 26 in the Colonial’s Bank Lobby for a very special countdown to ACOTAR for this ticketed event, and be among the first people to get their hands on a copy of A Court of Splintered Harmony, which we will have for sale and distribute at midnight. Costumes and other enthusiasm encouraged! This is a ticketed event. Click here to purchase tickets. We’ll have trivia, prizes, ACOTAR merch, signature cocktails for sale at the Colonial concessions bar, music, and more, all leading up to midnight when you will be sent off to return to the courts of Prythian… PLUS, Here And Now Crafts is offering ACOTAR inspired make your own Mini Book Bag Charm craft kits! You can make your ACOTAR Bag Charm during the event or take it home, and additional kits will be available for sale if you would like more than one or to grab some to give to your ACOTAR loving friends and family. Just add your first one on on during checkout -- the addtiional kits will be available for $5 at the event! PLUS, Sanctuary Esthetics & Cosmetic Tattoo will be on hand doing ACOTAR and bookish flash tattoos. Please note: Flash tattoos are not included in or guaranteed by your event ticket. Flash tattoos will be available on a first come, first served basis - limit one per person. Flash tattoos will cost $75-$100, payable by cash or venmo only. PLUS, C & E Craft Company will join us with their complete line ACOTAR inspired candles. If you have already preordered a copy of A Court of Splintered Harmony, it will be available for you to pick up at the party.
The Then and Now Book Group
The Then & Now Book Group features literary fiction, and each month alternates between a contemporary and classic novel. The group meets the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7 pm. The book group is free, open to the public, and the selected book is available for purchase at Reads & Company with a 20% discount.
