Every town deserves its own indie bookstore, and since 2013, Main Point Books has filled the gap for Main Line Philadelphia.

We nourish a love of reading by helping you find the book you were looking for and the book that you didn't know you needed. We are a place where you might meet an author, a neighbor, or an employee who will lead you in a new direction, encouraging exploration and discovery. Our goal is simple: to provide a haven to discuss, discover, and advocate for great books.

We strive to provide the extras that make for a wonderful shopping experience—a resolutely curated selection of titles to appeal to all ages and interests as well as customer service that makes shopping a joy. We want you to relish spending time at Main Point Books, to have it be a place where you feel comfortable sharing life's best and worst moments.

This event is at The Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA. The area business districts has restaurants if you come early, and there is a bar inside the theater. Tickets are $40 and include a signed copy of the book. Jodi will not be signing additional books or personalizing book you receive at this event. There will be a professional photographer to take individual photos of fans with Jodi. There area very limited number of Premium Tickets for $ 60, which include seating in the front center section and first call for the photo line. There are no obstructed view seats in the Keswisk, as it is one open space. Parking is available on the street and in near-by parking lots

Main Point Books and The Saturday Club welcome author/activist Denise Brown with her new book "For My Sister Nicole," a vital, trauma-informed book that illuminates intimate partner violence and the systems that enable it. This is ticketed event. Tickets include a copy of the book with a donation to help end domestic violence. Denise Brown was raised in a close-knit family in Orange County, California, and became known worldwide after the brutal 1994 murder of her sister Nicole Brown Simpson. Denise testified in front of the US Senate Appropriations Committee for increased funding for the Violence Against Women Act; President Biden and Senator Hatch cited her as “having done more for the issue of domestic violence than any other individual.” After three decades of advocacy, she is a sought-after speaker and educator on this critical public health issue.

The Only Murders in the Bookstore returns for Season 4! This year we'll be exploring dark realms of murder and mystery with authors Jason Rekulak, Vincent Tirado, and Jennifer Herrera, with special guest hosts Kirsten & Jackie of Beyond the Bookends. Tickets are $30, which includes a $15 coupon toward purchase of any of the books, snacks, and drinks. There will be special games and entertainment throughout the evening.
