Say Hi to the Scareacters
Three monsters have been stuck in a broken-down arcade for as long as they can remember -- and they don't even know why. Harrison is the new kid at school, and saying hi to the other kids feels unfamiliar. But when he finds an old video game cartridge and says one small "hi" to the monsters on the screen, they teleport out of the arcade and land right in his bedroom. What follows is a night of snacks, dancing in a thunderstorm, and an unexpected friendship -- as they try to find their way back to the arcade, and end up finding something else entirely. A warm, funny, and slightly haunted story about being seen, and what one small hi can unlock.
